Preventive work with children is vitally important. The main focus of prevention is discussions with children and their parents about correct dental care and some simple procedures to help prevent tooth and mouth disease. In addition to oral hygiene prophylaxis for children, the following activities are carried out

Preventive oral hygiene and dental care for children includes:
• Teaching correct tooth brushing

• Preventive cleaning of deciduous and permanent teeth.

• Covering teeth with protective fluoride

• Filling of tooth cavities (fissures) with special materials.

These procedures are completely painless and do not require pain relief.
